Thermal Drone Search Services

Our DJI Matrice 30T combines thermal imaging with a powerful visual camera to help search large, wooded, and difficult-to-access areas more efficiently. The thermal camera helps identify heat signatures across the search area, while the high-resolution zoom camera allows us to examine potential findings more closely.

For nighttime searches, the drone can also use a spotlight and loudspeaker to illuminate areas and broadcast familiar sounds, such as the owner’s voice or a recording of the pet’s favorite squeaky toy. These familiar cues may encourage a hiding pet to move out from beneath cover where the thermal camera cannot see it. They may also encourage a pet outside the immediate search area to move back toward the familiar voice or sound. In some previous searches, pets that were not located during the flight returned home shortly afterward.

Like all thermal technology, visibility depends on the surrounding terrain and the amount of cover. Dense vegetation can obscure heat signatures, although openings in brush or tree canopy may still allow detection. Buildings, vehicles, roofs, and other solid objects completely block the thermal camera’s view.

Important: Every search is different, and locating a missing pet cannot be guaranteed. Results may be affected by the pet’s movement, terrain, dense vegetation, weather, search timing, airspace restrictions, and whether the pet is concealed beneath or inside something that blocks the thermal camera’s view.

Payment Options
Payment is due after the service is completed. We accept Zelle, Venmo, Apple Pay, PayPal, and all major credit cards securely processed through Square.

From arrival through the search, you can follow the operation in real time.

Setup and Launch

We meet you at a safe and suitable launch location near your pet’s last known location. If possible, please identify an open area clear of trees, overhead wires, and other obstacles where the drone may be launched. The drone operator will make the final determination that the location is safe and suitable. We then set up the drone, equipment, and client-viewing monitor.
Watch the Search Live
You can watch the entire search in real time on our 27-inch monitor. This allows you to see what the drone operator sees and assist with identifying possible sightings.

Location Sent to Your Phone
If your pet is located, the drone marks the location and the controller generates a QR code. Scanning the code opens a pin in Google Maps on your phone and provides directions to the marked location.
Clients can follow the search in real time on a dedicated 27-inch monitor while the drone is in flight.

Guided Owner Recovery
As you approach, we continue monitoring from the air and provide updated directions if your pet moves. We guide you through a calm owner-recovery attempt and, when conditions allow, we continue aerial monitoring to help the owner or recovery team track the animal’s location and movement.

Missing-pet families are frequently targeted by scammers. Before sending money or sharing personal information, make sure the person contacting you can provide credible proof and verify who they are.
Watch for These Warning Signs
Claims that your pet has been found without providing a current photograph or short video
Claims of satellite tracking or remotely locating your pet without conducting an actual search
Promises or guarantees that your pet will be located or recovered—no legitimate search method can guarantee a particular outcome
Requests for gift cards, verification codes, or urgent payment before providing credible proof
Refusal to speak by phone, participate in a video call, or provide verifiable business information

Our DJI Matrice 30T can assist with large-area reconnaissance, identifying potential heat signatures, and providing real-time aerial awareness to authorized responders.
